I'd object to crafter boost items mostly because between levekits and Ixal/Moogle/Namazu beast tribe quests, it's really not that hard to level crafters.


White Mage ~ Sage ~ AstrologianBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.


You can't play the game without a DoW/DoM class. You can finish the game without ever leveling DoL/DoH. That is the difference. Gathering/Crafting is a side thing, ie completely optional, ergo boosts are not needed.



Regardless of how the "story" is finished, some people don't consider ending the story the end of the game. Some people are in it for the glamour and profit, since we've allowed avenues to the end of the story, having an avenue to the endgame in crafting isn't too far a stretch.
I understand what your logical reasoning is here, but it assumes everyone who is playing has the same goals and path to what they want. Allowing one group a shortcut but not allowing another is unfair.. technically.
As long as you don't detail how to perform said packet editing or reference sites that show you how, you should be fine. Please explain.

Game content offered... like.. all the crafting storylines? That's game content.
Once again, what you consider interesting content isn't what everyone else considers interesting. Reminder you CANNOT progress the 3 extended beast tribe quests without having at least one DOH class leveled. Storyline, quests, content.

I was going to say, I'm pretty sure the Korean and Chinese versions have the Crafter/Gatherer Jump Potions. They also have the ability to glamour their craft/gather only gear to war/magic jobs... but that is another thread entirely.
I am unsure how these potions would effect the economy. But to all the people who are like "If I had to level them you should too" the same exact thing could be said for people who use story or level jump potions currently. Or "But there's Moogle and Namau" ok well we also have "Potd and HoH" yet we still have potions for the lazy.
I'm not saying we should have craft/gather jump potions, I just think people should have a more valid reason why we shouldn't aside from "Well I had to level".
