My current issue is i did a story skip and have no idea how to get to the area where the dark knight quest is flagged. Does anyone know?

My current issue is i did a story skip and have no idea how to get to the area where the dark knight quest is flagged. Does anyone know?

Did you skip to Lv50 or Lv60?

The dark knight quest begins in Ishgard in the northeast part of the "Pillars" city zone.

If you skipped to Lv50, just follow your main story quest and you'll come across it soon enough.

If you skipped to Lv60 (more likely) you'll need to go from Gridania into the North Shroud, then northwest into Coerthas. The entrance to Ishgard (marked "Foundation" on the map because that's the city zone you'll enter first) is in the centre-north of this map at the "Gates of Judgement". Talk to the gatekeeper to enter the city.
