According to your number(s) - 4hrs/day for 66 days straight will earn you your tool. Okay, let's assume you don't play every day and/or don't gather every day; round it up to 90 days +/- 5 days. So, approx. 3 months to get the 'best' tool there is for the class.

If these are in fact supposed to be the best crafting/gathering tools out there, I don't think 3 months (or even close to 4) is really an excessive amount of time. I mean, once you get to 50 and once you get the tool... then what? o.O

Then you realise that the tool is just bling, and that any crafted tool with some added materia is far better
