I was just kidding. But I personally don't think star wars will last forever lol

Farewell, Kira_Darksbane! I won't be following you.
I've been playing SW,tOR pretty much since launch and I have to say that, without detracting from the amazing polish and care the game details evince (wish I could've said that about FFXIV at launch,) the game to me has a feeling of arid remoteness beyond which I can't get passed. To these eyes and mind, the atmosphere of the locales is largely missing. Whereas in Eorzea you feel a compelling inner life in the simmering activity most places seem to contain, even when devoid of players, the Galaxy feels rather empty and scarcely populated, even when players are plethoric.
I frequently complain about the lack of atmosphere and specificity in the inner corridors of Uld'ah, but compared to the manicured, drop-dead gorgeousness of Coruscant, our cities appear to brim with life force. It might not be that Force, but that one I haven't felt just yet.
Ah, another thing... I didn't pine for my light saber long enough, and now that I have it, and everybody around me has one, it doesn't feel that special, although it certainly feels Starwarsy.
Although I'm still running around Coruscant, for the time being, I'm back in Eorzea leveling my gladiator.

Completely Understandable. You choose to play FF over SW because you ENJOY it better. This is my reason for saying goodbye.
On a side note I feel the same lackluster feel that you feel about the lightsaber with my CCNJ weapon the almost EVERY other CNJ is running around with. If there is one thing I havd said since FF 14 launch is there is very little diversity in gear. Look around most everyone is running the same gear..
I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.
Probably due to this thread NOT being a hate-filled ragequitting troll post. S/he seems to to have honestly burned out, despite liking the game, so it is reasonable to assume that s/he will do other things, then perhaps come back after a later update, it happens all the time.

Not to sound like a dick, but I don't understand why people have to post on the forums they are not gonna play anymore. If you are not gonna play anymore just do that and quit.
Buy op, I'll be right behind you once pay kicks in :/. However, I'll be taking a long and much needed break from MMO's period. I think XI and XIV has burnt me out of MMO's in general. I'll be playing Skyrim, Atelier Totori and Dark Souls for a while. While enjoying the best MMO around...real life...starring my 2 y/o and my new baby due in MayLOL
Seriously though, enjoy the force![]()
