I am stopping by today to bid the FF14 comunity farewell. I have played the game since launch off and on with a few different toons and on a few servers as well. I want to thank everyone I have played with over the past year as I now have some unforgettable gaming memories to take with me on exit. Im not here to bash the game or anything because its a fairly decent game to be honest but for some reason I can not get stoked about it as I wish too. I only played FFXI for a brief time and started FFXIV with a group of real life friends that have already moved on.
Again thank you to Bodham and Selbina players that I have played with and best wishes to all of you.

How can people hate? I play both, FFXIV for the novelty and development and SWTOR for IRL/guild friends and PvP and story.

It is actually funny to read the imediate responses. And honestly I expected to be flamed as a troll, hater etc.. But lets analize this, I played another MMO thats been around for say 10+ years and quit because I was not liking it. I didnt go back to that.
IE: I ate this flavor of soup once and didnt enjoy it all that much. I dont periodicly purchase that soup to see if I may like it this time. I know I didnt like it and its not for me. There are several different flavors out there to try and find one I do like.
Again I am not bashing the game or quitting because of all the issues that its had. I am leaving because I dont enjoy the game. Is that so hard to believe. If there were anything at all that I disliked about FFXIV its these forums. There is so much negitivity here about the game, about things they have announced and people havent even tried yet. Heck people were bitching about CNJ only having one heal a month before it was even released. Then there was the BLK and WHT mage complainers. How about the guy crying about PL'ing even when Yoshi said it stays..
But hey im not leaving because of any of that. Plain and simple. I DONT LIKE THE GAME.

PS. Maybe SW wont be around forever but im enjoying it. If Not I will move on to something else I may enjoy. Not return to something I didnt..
