It was boneheaded out of both of them behaviorally. Don't need to slap regen pre-pull or even mid-pull-and keep doing it- if the tank has barely taken dmg or hasn't pulled all that many mobs yo begin with (second stretch of Ghimlyt comes to mind). Tank for reacting the way he did and quite frankly imo, not wanting to deal with. Yes it's annoying as hell but the only tank who should be truly be bitching about this is WAR as they theirs is a cone and in need to target first.

Had the most bizarre experience in leveling roulette on my warrior. The healer kept using benediction on me when I was at like 70% health, multiple times. So, I told them they should save that for when they really need it like if I, or someone else is about to die (since it heals to full). He pretty much wrote me off then later on he "rescues" me from a group of ranged adds when my health was extremely low, I supposedly los'ed them. They chose to rescue me, and proclaimed that they "saved me". I told him that he "saved" me from ranged adds that are hitting me anyway, and pulling away me just made me not able to actually hit them, and actually just made things worse. Since I use steel cyclone to heal myself. I also said, wouldn't have been nice if Benediction wasn't on CD?!

While the rest of the story just sounds like they were a rude person to begin with... as a WHM, I can say that I oftentimes use Benediction as a secondary instant-heal for when I'm Holy spamming or just trying to squeeze out more dps. I don't feel like saving my instant heals for "oh crap" moments is a good use of them; the less GCDs I have to spend using Cure/II, the better damage I can output to help with the run.

Granted, I usually just use Tetra when a tank is at ~70%. Benediction is still better for when they're closer to ~30% or so.

Then that was just a bad/lazy healer.

For the most part, a good healer will make sure to keep the tank and the party alive without the need for an insta-heal to save them from massive HP loss. It is still good to only use Benediction when a tank is getting super low, but it's easy enough to keep people alive at low HP without something instant if a healer is paying attention and doing their job properly.

Sounds like you may have just gotten a lazy troll who didn't really understand their class... or didn't care to play it properly. It's honestly really hard to tell nowadays. :x

I don't save Bene or any other CD for "oh shit" situations either. I use them, when I deem them most effective and to prevent this situations from happening in the first place. For most cds that often means using them as soon as they're up. If the fight is almost over, I save Asylum and DB, so the latter doesn't get consumed by the last few hits and I can pre-shield the next pull instead. I wait with Bene for a signifcant health drop but otherwise, if it's up and won't overheal/ everything is nearly dead anyway, I go for it.

I wiped my party in the Ghimlyt Dark last night. Oops.

Of all things. The Ghimlyt Dark. :c

I got hit by two bombs during Commence Air Strike and popped. Mostly because I went braindead trying to dodge it. I think I was nervous because I'd solo queued the dungeon and I'm kind of new to it still.

But I realized... there are multiple ways to dodge that AoE, it's easy to get lucky and avoid all of it, and you can basically just stand wherever and eat a bomb without much consequence.

Which makes me feel even worse! Because I overthink things so much!

Those bombs are the bane of my existence. As a BLM, sometimes I'll attempt to dodge around and not take anything because I don't want to be "that BLM" but sometimes I'll just Manaward and eat the first one because I don't feel like it. If I hit 70 WHM I don't even know what I'll do.
