It's just that the lesser panda minion and plenty of my glams would look sillier and/or more fitting on a bigger race.

Roeg are supposed to be the Galka equivalent, but for some reason they decided to chop off their tails. To me, that made them seem far more normal/human vs. their tailed counterparts.

But anyway, that person you were responding to originally was saying it's the dream not seen since the all-male Galka race. Hrothgar are all male. Galka were all male. OP seems to like that. I'm thinking that's the angle they were going with vs. appearance.

they dont appear to be roe, they seem to have a shorter midsection, and a different back. I'd need to see a side to side to be sure, but my guess is they are a morphed/tweaked version of the roe model. Much like male au ra and elvaan.

Any FFXIV race can yield an amazing-looking character if you get creative with the editor. However, people play a certain race not just because of its looks, but the movement and running animations. That is what killed Elezen and Roegadyn on arrival. And so far, what we've seen of these animations for Hrothgar is terrible. They are hunched forward and just move plain weird.

For that reason, I'm almost certain that all these Hrothgar 'enthusiasts' will return to their catboys very soon after Shadowbringers is released, and they are reminded of why they didn't go Roe in the first place.

some one who wants a cat race will probably be more accepting of non human running. They should actually feel different than humans
