Ive done around 1.5k mentor clears now.

75% of them are very simple ... a dungeon a simple 8 man raid or even a guildhest. One or 2 new ppl say hi and if theres a wipe ill explain it.

However ... there are groups that attempt ex primals w/o any knowledge and guess what Ramuh ex synced is still endgame level difficulty.

Im talking about ppl who spam their combo finisher only, ppl that think cure is the natural upgrade of cure 2 and ice mages ... as well as ppl who go as a class not job.

More often then not these ppl queue for languages they dont speak or dont read chat.

There are roulettes that are doomed from the moment it loads, I've had Sephirot ex yesterday ... stayed and explained but we did not stay alive look enough to even get echo.

It comes down to the question. How much of this falls on the mentor, do i muscle through 90 min of something that has no chance to win? Do i take the penalty?

Ex primals shouldn't have been in roulette ever. We never did ex primals in duty finder ...we watched guides and made partyfinders with "training labelled"

If you tried to queue for seiryu ex and said "first timer blind" youd be met with cold silence.

Ramuh is likely more difficult then seiryu so why can ppl run ramuh blind? Because its old content?

Out of those 1500 runs I've won all ex trials but.

Ramuh, thordan, nidhogg, sephirot, sophia and zurvan. These duties just dont belong in mentor roulette.

And on a sidenote mentor roulette have no single check for "is there a new player" if a duty does not fill its moved to mentor roulette. I've been mentor for a premade party of 3 doing ex roulette.
