Miqo'te Child C actually is a half-Keeper, half-Seeker. Iirc from an Event Questline once? You can see that she has the 'cat-eyes' (Seeker) and fangs (Keeper).

I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.

The day I see a hulking Lalafell sprinting towards me will be the day my nightmares finally come true.
'Till sea vores all.

I had thought long ago that a spore-lite sort of character creator might work (imagine bethesda or some modern MMOs with their sliders but now there are also things you can "pay" for, like buy Au Ra horns but it'll cost you 55% of your available bloodline). Although like Aion, BDO, and other high custom character creators you can make some pretty terrifying characters too lol. Like.. Very terrifying.
Perhaps to be more in FF line what you can do is select two races and the height will be a major factor in choosing proportions dominance of traits. The more of one side you take the more options from that group, like if you're to a certain point dunesfolk then you get those gem options. Then a new face mix system which you can do with two faces of the same race, or of two different races (one having to be the one you picked at first), and with a slider will blend one way or the other with some slider limits based on things like the height (or other options picked already, like horns). For example since you picked a really tall race and you're trying to mix lalafell in then your face slider wont slide very far to the lalafell side (just stops). Meanwhile you might get a bit more movement with like Au Ra and Lalafell, to the point you could have a fairly Au Ra face with horns and a gem even or a hyur with elvan ish ears. Due to it being a slider (that is calculating mouth, ear, nose, eye, and such position/shapes together) it shouldn't be able to create many horrifying options if at all and will also prevent something like having a tiny tiny lalafell head on a roe.
That's quite a bit of work though lol. I imagine perhaps it could be "snuck" (lol still quite a bit of work) in if they were already revamping the character creator (new sliders, new options/morphs). Like if SE added the face mixing of two of the same race then with a bit more work on top of that they could go cross race (but it wouldn't be as much work as going from point zero at that point, and would mean a lot of new face variations).
Might be saying something you already know but they're different enough to be considered such since their third eye (which gives them better spatial ability) and inability to use magic are pretty big differences (they're not simply a skin color difference, this is having a tail level difference lol). Wasn't sure, sort of read like "for whatever reason they're a different race in this game" but could have been my bad, maybe my misinterpretation of what was said.

Hilda - hyur with elf ears. Yes please (and her hair while we're at it)

If it means anything, I like to pretend my Miqo'te is half seeker, half keeper (I made her a keeper) because I gave her heterochromia (a trait not uncommon among seekers). I guess you could play around in the character creator and see if you could make a character look kind of mixed race, or at least mixed clan. Still, I'm all for a more canon version of this. That picture of the lala/roe hybrids is just the best thing ever.
ETA: I also made my Miqo'te's deity Azeyma, same as the seekers usually do. Not too important, just felt like adding that extra detail.
