Yay, Rjain caught on... Do you remember all the Forum fannies getting all enraged because IGN rated the game only a few weeks after launch? They all said that you can't rate an MMO without seeing what the endgame content was like, and without waiting 6 months.



And Yes, maybe I was too generous with my score... I have happy learning how to play Starcraft 2 these last 4 or 5 months which draws a lot of my attention away from the bad things of FFXIV.

SE really needs to take a long hard look at these comments and get it going now while they still have players. I know recent hard times are the cause for things to be shut down but what about before that? The next patch that comes down the pipe needs to be huge and fix allot if not all these issues before it's to late.

We were down to 10% of the original playerbase BEFORE they took the servers down for 2 weeks (giving people seeking MMO entertainment time to test out other MMOs). I hate to see how many players are left when they turn the servers back on.

In 2001, I was on the drumline in my High-School marching band. I remember practice on September 11. We had a routine to learn, competitions to win. The band director did not allow us to sit idly and watch TV the whole day... We had fricking work to do, goals to meet.... He also said that the best thing for us to keep our minds off the tragedy was to keep focused on our work.

I'm just sayin', that's all. I understand shutting down the servers to save energy, but get back to Fricking work or you could lose your job. SE's Net worth is already down 26% from what it was on Sep 27th 2010.

I was working in retail that day. We worked a full days work and got updates from customers who continued to live their life even tho thousands of americans had lost their lives on American soil due to terroist attacks that day.

Presentation - 3/10
Belgian sucks you in with his newspaper-like headline thread titles, once you see it, you have to click it. He does a good job of making his opening post relevant to his topic.

Graphics - 2/10
I find BelgianRofl to be very one dimensional. Some flash, but no substance.

Gameplay - 2/10
BelgianRofl constantly presses people's buttons. So don't expect to walk into happy territory, also Belgian's threads are basically repeats of previous threads or topics that people have brought up before. But Belgian is known to think of a gem or two.

Sound - 1/10
What can you say, BelgianRofl is loud. I'm hoping for more improvements in this area.

Lasting appeal - 1/10
After seeing a BelgianRofl thread one or two times, you pretty much know how the third thread is going to be. So you'll get bored very easily.

I would give graphics more of an 8/10. There are some minor graphical bugs that could stand to be fixed once all the important changes/additions are out of the way.

If you cannot be compelled to get above Rank 15 then that's enough evidence that the game is poor. As someone who has reached endgame and completed almost everything I can at this point other than class quests I have yet to unlock, there's not much to see after 15. I sure didn't.
