About the new items on mog station

They were exclusive items for people who bought the stream of the previous fan festival no? When we had to pay to see it. So, those items should stay exclusive no? I feel it's a bit like if you put the minion Caith Sith available on the mog station... I mean, I can understand some people wants them and that you will make money out of it, but... why would you do that?

It's not like a past event item... What is exclusive should stay exclusive in my opinion, it's a way to show that we were there when it happened and that we bought some product outside of the game. Ok, it's maybe not like buying a soundtrack or book or other physical product, but it was still a reward from buying the live stream...

How Square Enix works: If people complain enough, they will make it happen no matter what it is, seriously.

Not trying to be rude, but you have to understand that’s how things work around here. People complained about too much RNG in crafting, and want crafting to be more accessible. In 4.0, we got Prudent Touch, and crafting is more accessible.

Nothing will stay “exclusive” on this game unless its Chinese items.

If it's just greed, so why no Cait sith? Or legacy Chocobo? Or Bahamut minion. Or mogs minons from soundtracks. Or emote from Odin, Shiva, Ultima? Or every other exclusive items? I feel that those outfit were exclusive like those items... If they want to start releasing some, well, release everything then... And I bet that many players would be mad if they do..

I just feel it's not right from them to do it.

Nope. I bought the stream solely for the outfits too, had no interest in watching the stream at all, and I still think people should be able to get them on the mog station now. There's literally no harm in it, and it's really lovely nostalgia that I'm happy more people get access to far cheaper than what I paid for.

It was exclusive for several years, if anything SE didn't have to add the gear to MogStation at all. Just like they don't need to add gear exclusive from the Chinese/Korean versions of the game, but we still get things from time to time.

Many people requested Yuna and Tidus to be in Mogstation. SE made it happen. Cait Sith ears most likely will not be purchasable, it’s just not requested enough as much as Tidus and Yuna were.

Why would people ever want to keep cosmetics from other players?
The event was the thing you paid for... the cosmetics in game were a bonus.

Yeah that's one of the big problems of SE, they keep pushing the game down because things were too hard for a majority of players... Crafting got ruined in 4.x, you don't even need a pentameld or anything to 100% HQ with a macro... it's not related to what I complain here but it's still something stupid that they did... So end game gear is not a challenge anymore to get...
