I'm just going to leave this here because it comes to me every time I hear devs mention things like this. If you know of this game's modding scene, his post becomes especially laughable.

Already been discussed in this thread, you are wrong, the modders routinely say they can't fix certain bits of gear they mod to make them right,frequently break character models and textures. Plus, from the pictures I've seen, most of their work looks flat, like an image basically just laid onto a model. There's no texture, no feel to it.
