I believe the devs are aware

We all love to believe they are aware of a lot of things. But the wall of silence from Yoshida on anything that isn't fluff says a lot to me. And the lack of acknowledgement or correction of a lot of other things says even more. You literally need to start a near slander campaign, like the anti-race genderlock players did, for SE to pay attn and give a statement. And even that was mostly just "we will look into it"

If they can't do something, they need to say so and maybe tell us what they tried and why the ultimately decided against it. And if they are looking into it, even if they don't have a timeline, they could at least talk about it so we are aware. However, they don't. They just act like we are not even here for the most part and its infuriating.

I have characters on Hyperion and Famfrit and in the last week I've been able to grab a Med on Hyperion, my friend got a Med on Hyperion and I've got a small on Fam. Houses do open up. Whether they sit open depends on how desirable the plot is.

That depends on server though. On sarg Goblet, plot 9, arguably the worst plot of all the housing wards, opened up and still had around 6 ppl camping the signpost. Some ppl just want a house, no matter what plot it is.

More referring to whether someone can wait out the timer and buy it, or someone relocates to the plot. Got yelled at for relocating to the Medium by someone trying to camp the placard. I'm not sure how they thought they were going to get a Med on the timer.

For the Crystal data center Goblin, Brynhildr, Diabolos and Malboro all have a reasonable number of available houses according to a post in the census thread yesterday. Zalera still has a couple of dozen as well. Mateus, Balmung and Coeurl are pretty much dry - dependent on things opening through auto-demo.

If it helps, now that the demo timer is active again I'd expect to see houses open on a fairly regular basis on Diabolos. Usually smalls, but the odd medium pops up now and then. I've never seen people camping for a house here so we're in a pretty good spot for people looking to get a house without too much stress.

Welp. While I was wasting away house hunting in ffxiv, a tornado hit my REAL LIFE HOME and sent a tree into the room I was in house hunting in ffxiv.
So I'll remember that SE, that MY LAST MOMENTS IN MY REAL HOME THE DAY AFTER MY CHEMO WAS SPENT UPSET AND NOT ENJOYING THE GAME, RELAXING.

Prioritize your safety and health irl 1st, your in game home hunting in ffxiv can wait, you know you don't need to be in a hurry in mmorpg everything is just a matter of time, before i did not even expect to be able to get a house, as houses were only for free companies when i started but i just played with other content and for housing i took an apartment, then opportunity came and i got my house. SE is aware of the lack of housing, i believe they are working to resolve it, there might be some financial or technical constraints that impede the speedy resolution but it will be resolved eventually, so just take it easy for the mean time, and tc to you and your family.
