Newbie question: image attachments

While you can use images from anywhere, you have private storage space to upload your images on the FFXIV website.

Once you upload a image, right-click the thumbnail and select "copy link location" to get the image URL.

While this is an option... depending on how much of a shutterbug you are it's pretty easy to reach the data storage limit on the Lodestone. I'm also not a fan of how Lodestone automatically scales down images over a certain size either.


Personally I use imgur for uploading images I intend to use on these forums. Important think to remember when linking images from imgur though is that the "link" provided on the images isn't the actual url you want... you have to right click the image and "Copy Link Address" to get the url that ends in .png or .jpg
