Wow that Hrothgar is a very handsome guy! Already planning on multiple of them, Square is sure going to get a lot of money from me for the ARR skip potions. I'm pretty darn excited!

Also, a suggestion. Maybe it’s best, to save money while the ARR skips are on sale. Just make all the characters right now, buy the skip potions, then once Shadow Bringers comes, buy the changing potions (race potions). You’d be saving a lot of money. I think skip potions are like 20 or 18 dollars? I could be wrong, but change potions are 10 dollars. Just a suggestion.

Edit: Actually........ the extra 10 would out price the sale..... my bad, I’m dumb.

Erf this is where I wish alts were more viable in this game. Thanks to being able to be any and all classes as one character (which is great, I'm not knocking it), I have very little use for an alt. So more than likely my Hrothgar will be a retainer unless I can find a valid reason for an alt. As of right now, I can't think of one!

Either way, going to be awesome to see them around, and I'll definitely play with them in the benchmark.

I love that feeling. When you feel like you're doing some high level thinking and calculations only to realize a moment later it's less efficient. I get that all the time. Dx

Kind of a shame that people have to come into these threads and spread negativity though. :/

They're neat and a much welcome addition to the races of FF XIV. If they weren't so bulky and were more tall and slim like the Ronso race in FF X then I'd probably switch. But they will still be neat to see running around.

Reminder that if you've been playing long enough back when the old system for Veteran Rewards was active, you'll have at least one fantasia coming through in the mail on a new alt when you make it; the one fantasia is generally the first of the reward tiers, although there were an extra 3 of them that came in the mail on a new alt for me that I don't remember the source of, so it could be more than just the one. Definitely swapping an alt over to hrothgar once ShB hits, I'm so excited.
