if we got beast it shouldn't be range it should be duel wielding axes

No more stupid limited jobs. It is literally the worst idea I have heard the devs come up with, and are an incredibly stupid thing to implement.
This was my idea for tamer/beast master but since dancer uses chakrams I would have to rework it. It had a hunter type theme.

I can’t see them releasing another Ranged Physical any time soon, and I mean before 8.0, but BST would seem to suit the limited job role perfectly.
Limited jobs aren’t a terrible idea, but BLU was implemented really badly.
Going out and hunting down the skills was actually really fun.
Grinding dungeons and EX primals however was awful. These skills would have been better tied to FATEs or Beast tribes.
They also need to streamline the skill selection process. The Role skill, checkbox before you can move it to a selection pool, before you can move it to a hotbar, is really convoluted when you’re changing them up all the time.
If the Masked Carnivale was then implemented in a way that all future Limited jobs could take part in and perhaps compete in a PvE context, some kind of leaderboard or something, with similar rewards, it could be well worth doing as an alternative to PvP.
Add in a limited job option for deep dungeons too.
They are a terrible idea in my opinion. I don't want limited jobs that can't use the duty finder or participate in raids. The majority of relative fun is participating in end game content, gathering end game gear, and continuing to be relevant. I don't want another mini-game job. It deserves more than that. So did Blu Mage.
At the end of the day it's still nothing more than a side-show one trick pony that you can't join your friends in when they are clearing extreme primals. Turning jobs into a daily/weekly facebook game isn't engaging. It's a waste of potential. The class fantasy deserves more.If the Masked Carnivale was then implemented in a way that all future Limited jobs could take part in and perhaps compete in a PvE context, some kind of leaderboard or something, with similar rewards, it could be well worth doing as an alternative to PvP.

But it's better than not getting Blue Mage at all, which is what they said would happen. They are a terrible idea in my opinion. There's a finite number of job's we'll ever get, and they said they wanted BLU to be true to its roots. Beastmaster is in a similar boat.
There's nothing wrong with side content. We have PvP, Gold Saucer, etc.
Limited Jobs are a form of side content that warrants continuous updates, rather than being done once and forgotten like Squadrons.

Disagree, personally id rather not have had BLU, it adds nothing for me except irritation that it is not a full job when little (and i mean very little) about its kit justifies it not being one. BLU is also only superficially true to its roots, and could be true to its roots without sacrificing identity. But it's better than not getting Blue Mage at all, which is what they said would happen.

Squadrons get way more use than BLU imo, theres actually reasons to continually visit them to get stuff like rationing manuals, and to level alt jobs.
Savage Completion Rate ~5%+ of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to savage"
Ultimate Completion Rate ~1% of active players. Community: "Ugh stop catering to the hardcore raiders"
Frontline/ Rival Wings/ Hidden Gorge Mount Aquisition ~0.05-1% of active players. Community: "Ugh PVP is so dead in this game, they should stop investing in it"
Blue Mage Morbol Mount Aquisition ~0.01% of active players. Community: "WoW bLuE mAgE iS sO fUn AnD aCtIvE i CaN't WaIt FoR mOrE lImItEd JoBs"
I mean, I'd rather the game didn't have Squadrons, Summoner, Roegadyn, Lord of Vermillion, or Eureka, they do nothing for me, but I can just ignore them...Disagree, personally id rather not have had BLU, it adds nothing for me except irritation that it is not a full job when little (and i mean very little) about its kit justifies it not being one. Eh. At this point, BST will be used as product placement for Monster energy drink.
One thing I fear we need to accept from a BST job is that any variety in pet will be entirely cosmetic, or we will end up with a situation similar to Summoners and Scholars were only one pet ever gets used.
Tops I could see two pet roles, a Tank for over world soloing and a DPS pet for in dungeon, and limit "glamours" to the pets. BTW, by this I don't mean they all need to behave the same way, but lets say you get a Scorpion pet, and a Tiger pet, they both potentially would have their own sets of auto attacks and AoEs, but they all will always do the same amount of damage and have the same area coverage.
