    it was just like the original players poll. people were asked what they wanted most of any change that needed to be done. they asked for content over anything else. the people that came on here asking for content were told to shut up and go away by the minority of players, but it just happens that the minority of players are very vocal on the forums.

    i can say the minority as a fact since the majority did ask for content on the players poll. the vocal ones here are also the people that have been fighting against having more players polls because they hate being shown they are the minority.

    i'm personally happy with the content that has been added in the last few patches. i'm not a fan of the nuts and dropping multiples of the same item when i could give it to someone that needed it, but the fights are fun. the only issue i have is the amount of content being so small. it's hard to justify a single fight being worth 6-8 weeks worth of payment. they get old and stale when they are the only thing.

    darkhold was fun, but the timer was a little bit of a turn off. the fight with the ogre and battral was great by comparison to the nm's that we had to fight before it was released. i was tired of beating on them for months at a time. the problem is the gear from there was completely outdated the following patch.

    the strongholds were good for leveling up and had some nice drops. the sentinel set is very nice as it can have materia attached to it. the rest of the gear sets leave alot to be desired to make them worth getting. the boss fights at the end were decent, but not even as good as the original 5 nm's were.

    the ifrit battle was really good. i enjoyed it very much for the first 100 kills. after that and got to over 250 kills and still didn't have the last drop though and i was pure sick of it. the mage weapons still need major work from it. the thm as the attacking mage needed the magic crit, but it would have been better as a 2 handed weapon as it is the damage mage. the con would have been better with a 1 handed weapon with a shield because they are more for healing parties and the wand should have had a healing stat and not a attack stat.

    moogle. i really don't know what to say about the moogle fight. i have went in a few times and i'm just not really a fan of it at all. it's less of a strategic fight than what i prefer to be involved in. i've only went in a few times though and am not really concerned with beating it because i refuse to do the die revive method. most groups i have went in with have been making plans to die and raise before even entering the fight and that's just not something i want to be involved in.

    overall i'd say the new content all has some good points and bad points, but there is just not enough of it to keep my attention between patches. i'm not a fan of the much slower battle the game has now and the way they keep acting like they are lost on how to work on the mage classes, but if there were more content to keep me involved i could overlook alot of those issues. even if they released 1-2 world nm's to go with their dungeons/raids/primals where you could fight like the original 5 that dropped mats i would have enough to keep me interested because i'd fight them repeatedly until i got hq gear off them all.
