I would agree I really enjoyed Darkhold. I would like to see that type of raid come back but I would prefer a raid where you don't have to run through the majority of it. I like ifrit but I would prefer a build up before the final boss fight like in toto rak or dark hold instead of bam boss fight.

the OP has a history of his posts all demanding that he specificaly be catered to and that if they dont, they are ignoring the entire playerbase

i was seriously responding when i asked if he was serious about the no dev communication he was talking about cuz as far as alot of us can see(use the dev tracker and its proof) we get TONS of communication

usualy the only ones who question it beyond that are mad cuz they dont get their threads replied too

You do realize a persons mood isn't always rage right? How was any of the previous comments constructive to the thread integrity? How did you and the previous posters do anything but be condescending to the OP? I don't really care about his history I don't take that in to account. Unless you want me to take the previous posts of your in to account which wouldn't make you look good either? He wasn't asking for your opinion on Dev communication. He was asking the Dev's. He was asking about what you as a player what you would like to see in the new raids. Unless your a Dev incognito? Which I highly doubt. Who said he was questioning anything? Where in his original post did he have any type of rage? Unless you instantly assuming he is enraged all the time. I am done with you and this thread it seems like it is not going anywhere due to the fact that people cannot post with out attacking the OP. I have stated what I would like to see and I am done. I think it has to do with how the OP was generally the one to go around calling everyone noobs and White Knights that weren't pissed off they couldn't get a shield for their gladiator due to being in a different Grand Company.

I said it in that thread and I shall say it one last time. He brought up a good subject in a bad way. The Grand Company's are unbalanced and I agree with him that its is unfair.

it was just like the original players poll. people were asked what they wanted most of any change that needed to be done. they asked for content over anything else. the people that came on here asking for content were told to shut up and go away by the minority of players, but it just happens that the minority of players are very vocal on the forums.

i can say the minority as a fact since the majority did ask for content on the players poll. the vocal ones here are also the people that have been fighting against having more players polls because they hate being shown they are the minority.

Some time ago existed another thread aimed to devs (don't remember what they asked): a dev popped in, responding to the thread, remarking the fact it's their policy not respond to thread directly aimed to them.
this fact+dev's on holiday+general butthurt in all your threads= this topic. Start changing your attitude pls.

Majority also stated they were happy with the game being overhauled, which means there wouldn't be content patches because when you're redesigning a game's foundation you're not adding to it, you're fixing it.

once again. I posted IN THAT THREAD that that was a nerdrage thread. you are the ones that took that thread too far. if you have nothing to comment about the raids then please leave.

I agree with chibi, something like toto would be kinda fun, maybe something not as confusing (have to pull up that map everytime I want to run it), with a final boss battle that is more epic, and maybe split timers, you have 30 min's to GET to the boss, then at boss you get another 30 mins to down him, that way the boss battle can be more epic and you dont get cruntched for time on the boss like in batraal.

Solution?

Open world dungeon > Instanced boss fight area that can be done in various ways.

i'm personally happy with the content that has been added in the last few patches. i'm not a fan of the nuts and dropping multiples of the same item when i could give it to someone that needed it, but the fights are fun. the only issue i have is the amount of content being so small. it's hard to justify a single fight being worth 6-8 weeks worth of payment. they get old and stale when they are the only thing.

darkhold was fun, but the timer was a little bit of a turn off. the fight with the ogre and battral was great by comparison to the nm's that we had to fight before it was released. i was tired of beating on them for months at a time. the problem is the gear from there was completely outdated the following patch.

the strongholds were good for leveling up and had some nice drops. the sentinel set is very nice as it can have materia attached to it. the rest of the gear sets leave alot to be desired to make them worth getting. the boss fights at the end were decent, but not even as good as the original 5 nm's were.

the ifrit battle was really good. i enjoyed it very much for the first 100 kills. after that and got to over 250 kills and still didn't have the last drop though and i was pure sick of it. the mage weapons still need major work from it. the thm as the attacking mage needed the magic crit, but it would have been better as a 2 handed weapon as it is the damage mage. the con would have been better with a 1 handed weapon with a shield because they are more for healing parties and the wand should have had a healing stat and not a attack stat.

moogle. i really don't know what to say about the moogle fight. i have went in a few times and i'm just not really a fan of it at all. it's less of a strategic fight than what i prefer to be involved in. i've only went in a few times though and am not really concerned with beating it because i refuse to do the die revive method. most groups i have went in with have been making plans to die and raise before even entering the fight and that's just not something i want to be involved in.

overall i'd say the new content all has some good points and bad points, but there is just not enough of it to keep my attention between patches. i'm not a fan of the much slower battle the game has now and the way they keep acting like they are lost on how to work on the mage classes, but if there were more content to keep me involved i could overlook alot of those issues. even if they released 1-2 world nm's to go with their dungeons/raids/primals where you could fight like the original 5 that dropped mats i would have enough to keep me interested because i'd fight them repeatedly until i got hq gear off them all.
