Will we meet Allagans in the first?

I am wondering what sort of place the first will be. Will events that happened in our world be have happened in the first? Would the Allagans’ extensive history have existed at all in the first? What about the Dragonsong war that lasted over one thousand years?

The reason I ask about the allagans specifically is because of their connection to the crystal tower. Would they have been able to travel to other worlds too? What kind of place will the first be in terms of a timeline? Would our current accomplishments matter at all?

Given that the events that resulted in the creation of the Shards split from the Source happened long before the Third Era, no we probably won't meet Allagans. I say probably instead of a hard no simply because the Crystal Tower simply appeared in the First rather then being created so it itself is probably still an Allagan creation.

That all said the first does have ruins of a different empire, the Ronkan Empire. They might be the First's version of the Allagans...though I'd put us meeting any of them as low just like the Allagans, and enemies beside.

So first up... the Shard Split happened 12,000 years ago, which would be at least 5,000 years before Allag was ever a thing. Given how fast cultures change, that's pretty much forever. Not going to say there couldn't have been a super advanced civilization on the 1st Shard, but if there was, it would probably be nothing like the Allagan Empire. Simply put, the Shards have no connection to any other Shard or the Source once they were created. The history of the Source wouldn't effect the history of the 1st Shard. Which is pretty significant given how much the Calamities have effected the Source's history and rest all civilization and government every thousand years or so. As far as we know, nothing like the Calamities would have happened on the surviving Shards.

The second thing is, the Crystal Tower was never built to be a gate to travel to other shards. It was built by the Allagans to be a power generator for their entire empire. The only time it might have links to a gate would have been when Xande used the power stored in the Crystal Tower to open a gate to the Void to let the Cloud of Darkness through. Only even with all the energy being pumped into the Crystal Tower from Dalamud, it still wasn't enough energy and the 4th Umbral Calalmity came about as a result. Even then, the Crystal Tower wasn't the gate itself. It was only the power source for the gate.

The third thing is, it has been said that the Crystal Tower on the 1st Shard appeared out of nowhere not that long ago in the 1st Shard's history. It's apparently a very recent structure and all the buildings around it were only built after the Flood happened. So from the looks of it, it doesn't have the same cultural trappings the Crystal Tower on the Source does.

    As far as we know.

Our out-of-game understanding of the Crystal Tower is largely reliant on the in-game archaeological findings of the Sons of St Coinach.

There is, of course, one living person who has been awakened to a full understanding of the Tower and its purpose... and we should be getting some answers from him soon.

There's also the encyclopaedia entry for Apocalypse, obviously.

I'm hesitant to make any logical leaps until we know more about G'raha Mr. Enigma. If his arm is messed up because he's been using Crystal Tower in ways it was never intended (say, hypothetically, displacing Crystal Tower in time and space so that it appears to be on the First and the Source simultaneously), no Allagans need be anywhere in spite of the "Royal Door" still being there on the First.

Besides, if we see more Allagans now it won't have the same impact when the Ragnarok armada gets back from deep space (trololol).

So each of the shards have their own unique history that is unrelated to what has happened in other places. Got it!

I guess a better question to ask is, what (speculated) similarities does our current world share with the new world? We know about the races already.

Based on that, everything that we are and have become (Warrior of Light) is meaningless in the First since, based on the trailer, our blessing of light is useless. Are we back to being nameless adventurers? Also, does this mean we are “done” with the current world with the exception of the empire? If that is the case, I am both worried and excited about starting from square one lol.

It's been said/hinted at that those who live in the city around the tower on the first have a story about the one who will bring back the darkness. So, i'm not sure how much we'll be a nameless adventurers. That and depending on how exactly we arrive in the first either from walking out of the tower or just materialize in the outskirts of town. If from the door then we might get an instant greeting as I'm sure that door hasn't opened in awhile if at all. If we just get popped into a field we might scare some people and give them the wrong impression.

That question can be answered from our complement. Does Zodiark allow Ascians to tap his power without his consent? Keep in mind, Hydaelin/Zodiark is just the will. They may not have any clue/say on what we or the Ascians do when we tap their powers using the crystals.

Artificially it's diverse, naturally a lot of common things. Nature doesn't like taking the long route of inventing things. It will try to be efficient and do what its already know how to do. People think shard splits will split/heading to very different directions but naturally it will look like this. Norvandt is basically mini Eorzea (with added Flying), naturally look the same, but artifically named different.

The splitting of the shards happened BEFORE Midgardsrmr came to Hydaelyn. Therefore, Dragons should exist only on the Source and there should not be any Dragons on The First, and therefore, no Dragonsong War.

That is to say....Vrtra and Azdaja after being born on the Source, might have been somehow banished to the First by the Allag and that's why we haven't seen them yet.
