You got a point there. Just like how some took Yoshi P's response about looking into feedback as a confirmation and are getting impatient there was no official response yet and reached the point of "they're gonna surprise us with male Viera this live letter!".Not on the surface. However if SE did release such information, how do you suppose it would be interpreted by the playerbase? I won't shun the intention or genuineness behind the OP's request, but he might need to be reminded that these male Viera starved players will claw at anything that even remotely confirms that the devs are working on releasing them at some point. One could argue that it's just a naming convention for the sake of lore, but it's fuel for the fire regardless. More than likely, that is the reason for the first couple of replies this thread got.
Maybe I misunderstood and you didn't mean it that way. Nevertheless, it brought the idea to my mind when I saw that, so I still have to disagree on revealing the name convention early for options that will not be available unless there is no distinction between genders.

People definitely have a weird view of the amount of work necessary when they likely already have work planned out for the entire ShB patch cycle. Any progress on them for the next ~18 months will likely be done only in spare time, like BLU was.
