I just farmed HW dungeons...
Sohm Al, The Vault etc...
Quick and easy dungeons, basically just go through them until finding one that has its bonus active and then spamming it.
Light comes from all HW duties, not just raids.

Do you need to have the weapons equipped while doing the dungeons? Or can you just equip them before leaving?
Also how do you know a dungeon has a bonus?

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

Just have them equipped for the final boss.
If you want to be really cheeky, you can quickly equip it after you kill the boss, but before the death has registered, but honestly, you shouldn't have much issue with just killing the boss with the Anima weapon.
Basically, after completing the dungeon instead of getting a message to the effect of "Your weapon emits a gentle light" you instead get the message "Your weapon grows more robust"
Essentially, just look for the word "Robust" in the message instead of "Gentle"
Be aware that the bonus lasts for 1 hour then it swaps to a different set of dungeons (Which means spamming a bunch of them to find the new bonus one...). It's worth chasing the bonuses though, since it literally doubles the rate at which you gain light (Gentle is like +16 light while Robust is +32) and so even if the bonus dungeon isn't as quick as the fastest dungeon, so long as it isn't more than twice as long it's still a gain in light for time spent.
Also note, these rules apply to the Zodiac weapon light farms too if you ever find yourself doing that. Both for the Nexus stage as well as for the final Zeta stage.
