I knew you were able to add some of the sets, but I was trying to add Astrologian sets to my armoire and it did not work. Did something change or are some AF sets unable to be inside the armoire?

Only the very first AF-set from ARR can be added to the armoire.
You can buy the current 290-AF sets from the calamity salvager though (for 1k gil a piece) - so if you're not emotionally attached and just want to make space in your inventory, just toss the set and rebuy it (or pieces) when you need them for glamour.
This does not apply to the upgraded, dyeable version of the AF-sets though! The calamity salavger wont sell you those, so if you upgrade them in Eureka Anemos, you better hold onto them!
Never mind, I found what I was looking for. Thanks anyway! <3
You can but you need to add them to your Glamour Dresser instead of the Armoire.
Yeah, I found it. I haven't played the game in a while, so I kinda forgot. @.@
Are you able to buy back HW AF sets from the Calamity Salvager too?
No, unfortunately. As far as I am aware, the calamity salvager works by checking your obtained achievements and then offering items for sale associated with those achievements. For the original ARR jobs (including Ninja), the ilvl50 AF gear was given as part of the questline from the get go and was such 'tied to' the achievements for the lvl 50 job quests. This is also true for the lvl 70 ilvl 290 AF3 gear (and weapon). The HW lvl 60 job quests did not offer the AF2 gear originally, as they were made tomestone gear, and so the gear itself was not tied to the achievment for clearing the lvl60 quest.
