Do you ever glance at the launcher when logging in? It's there, and lodestone, and was announced (I think) during Vegas Fanfest 2018.

You make it sound like is very spexial or is just a different game when it is not the same game/code source runs over Balmung server runs over other servers the ERPers of Balmung do not crap gold and are exactly the same human mass of Mateus or any other ERP server from NA DC, there is no magic there is just a bunch of text lines and pixels, once you get to understand who does exactly the ERP and what does irl you prolly cross your eyes once and move on.

What? I'm origianlly from Balmung, and I enjoy the server. It's my "home" so to speak. I get that not everyone feels attached to their servers, but I've been missing it since I moved away. Coeurl has been nice, and I like seeing all the new faces, but I'm ready to go back now. Nothing wrong with wanting to stay/be part of your home server.

I don't RP, or ERP, or have a need to crap gold, so I really don't know WTF you're on about. I do also still have friends on that server, so I have the concern that once Balmung is offically locked for good again, visitation may be an issue.

I think it's great. I don't agree with isolationist sentiment. Meeting lots of people who are new to RP and have always wanted to try, but weren't on Balmung or Mateus.

Click on an aetheryte in one of the starting cities, and you'll see the option there.


Also, this all makes me quite excited to move back to Balmung. That place can get quite stale with all the server locking. I'm sure the craziness will die down some, but more people just spice the place up a bit.

Ahh, interesting. Nowhere did I mention that you can only RP on Balmung. I didn't even mention RP at all! Nor did I say you can't have friends anywhere else. I simply stated that I'm excited to move back, and that more people visiting are helping to bring some life to the staleness of a locked server.

Different things, Barrens was bad on all servers, but if you wanted to see the kind of filth they're probably talking about, you'd have to go to Goldshire on an RP server (probably Moon Guard).

It seems that those who were doing ERP from Balmung that wanted to stay on Aether have gone to Sargatanas. Limsa on the last few days has had a lot of it going on.
