Even if we all moved, it still wouldn’t be the same. No I don’t know all Balmung players, but I like the feeling of the crowds. It makes the world feel alive. I belong here.

Dude the server visitation is great. It's nice to actually see new faces on balmung. The trolls will get bored soon enough, especially with an expansion coming.
I just wish they didn't have to destroy friend groups, fcs, and statics to bring this though.

Balmung has a certain reputation to it, so people off-Balmung are curious and want to experience what it is like, regardless of what it is actually like. As others have said, give it a few days and things should quiet down a lot. On the other hand I don't expect things will go back to the way they were because world visit is a thing now. Maybe choosing another hangout spot will make it easier or natives will just have to use LSes or something.

I actually managed to make an alt there (TWO, actually, I've been itching to roll a Roegadame for the longest) and it's been mostly friendly. Then again, I stay out of most people's way and mostly hang around Gridania, so perhaps that has a lot to do with it.
