how does lulu from final fantasy 10 nightmare flue she was sexy, and like guy outs even be hot has hell.. controlling a cute puppet how is that nightmare flue
as much as id love 2 heal with dolls thats more of mage dps
give you little history lesson on dollmaster, puppetmaster in final fantasy lore. first of all lulu was a the blackmage but her design was really good, she had a-lots different dolls and puppets and like they came in many different shapes and sizes and like their was something for everyone if they desired that cant doll or puppet,
in this game ff14 that could be intercrated rather easily cause we have gramor system so if someone wanted a doll to look like mr-t or someone wanted cute adorable one they can do it with - customazation on this job is limitless
cool things is dolls can be anything from characters from old final fantasy games like ect ect. kinda already in game with toys again making it easier to impalemented
final fantasy 11 the puppetmaster was in my opinion really really bad dps job. think they went the wrong road with this however making it into a healer i feel it has more opinions added too it mixing puppetmaster with legendry mimic job making it so that it fits ff14 is what trying go for.
now gauntlets with threads call that nightmare fuel. how do think the doll or puppet is controlled has be sometype of attachiment from caster and doll make them mimic them. up for different weapon suggestions. guys have understand job isn't like the sch want keep this and sch job completely different even when comes to controlling their pet. so it doesn't feel like a copy and paste job
Only if it's a witchdoctor theme and the doll is a voodoo doll.
I think most of the references to nightmare fuel stem from calcabrina, the epitome of a "doll". I know doll is a blanket term for more.. stuffed automatons.. but that antitower boss would likely be what comes to mind for many.
I wouldn't be opposed to it playing off as similar to Cait Sith's character from VII, where a similar concept is used (just with a cute remote controlled robot cat).
I think this could be a really interesting idea.
When I saw the idea of "Dollmaster", my first thought wasn't FFX's Lulu but actually from another RPG; Shadow Hearts Covenant. There was a playable character in the game called Geppetto (homage to pinocchio?) and he had a doll called Cornelia which he could dress up in certain elemental dresses giving it unique spells. Granted Geppetto had has access to other spells as well (that everyone could use) so you could actually make in him to a healer/support or damage dealer if you wanted but it was the idea of changing your doll when you needed to that made it different (compared to Lulu's toys that don't do anything but look visually cute).
yah thats part of why suggested it Ii remeber shadow hearts beautiful beautiful game sad that itt didn't continue really want pay homage to shadow hearts it was beautiful game annd cornella was niceWhen I saw the idea of "Dollmaster", my first thought wasn't FFX's Lulu but actually from another RPG; Shadow Hearts Covenant.
