World visit and crafting

Been on the game 10min and I already hate world visit. The items I sell to make gil are being sold for the same price as I buy my materials for so until it's over it looks like I wont be making any gil.

Probably cheaper mats were found on another server, so while the sell price is lower, their profit margin could be the same. Go around to other servers and look for cheaper mats.
I think over time this will level out, or people will tire of having to hop from server to server to find the best price.

People won't need to check other servers after a bit once prices stabilize across the data center. Either way, there are still plenty of ways to make gil, you just won't be able to make it selling for ridiculous prices per single item because of the lack of competition on smaller servers.
