At this point should be a silent auction. Put in the bids, not enough gil on the buying player/fc bank move to the next bid on the list auto-magically. I don't understand why FC's have to fight people for houses on this, it has me more upset than anything. Here I am, albeit a non max leveled crafter, but I made a bit doing this, and willing to pay 10x face value a small to SE for it. yet a person (with no fc) has their head nod every 20 seconds on a metronome "magically" vs my FC that just came back and wants a house. when botting and a single outweighs an fc's wants.

I can't say as I have never seen a house come off it's timer or stayed past an hour at most. Most I have been around was snatched up by relocaters relatively quickly. There is no 100% accurate timetable for this damn timer unfortunately.

If you were in EU data center just in these two servers today look at the amount of plots available:Literally sat at a house for 2 hours and and left for 2 min and the house i was waiting for was taken. i dont care if this was to prevent house selling or if the person relocated from another plot. i wasted 2 hours of my life for this and im not subbing to play maybe 8 hours a day just to waist this much time and get nothing from it. Get your shit together Final fantasy.
► Omega:
Lavender beds 47 small plots available to for players to buy
Goblet 211 small plots available for players to buy
Mist 35 plots available for players to buy
► Louisoix:
Lavender beds 129 small plots available
Goblet 361 small plots available
Mist 134 small plots available
Shirogame: 23 small plots available
I absolutely understand how you feel OP. Been sitting in front of a Placard since 6AM this morning, literally since the servers opened up, yet I am still getting "This plot of land is not yet ready for purchase."
Absolutely no one, not a single player, think this is a good idea. I am totally clueless on why they aren't lowering the timer. Up to 24 hours is just plain stupid.

Just because they're available doesn't mean you can ACTUALLY BUY THEM. If you've been reading the comments or looking anywhere, even when the plot is open there is a random timer that nobody can see before somebody can actually purchase the land.If you were in EU data center just in these two servers today look at the amount of plots available:

Yes, but with the amount they are showing available, I am pretty sure even after a day or two they'll still have a quite a bit available. With well over 500 alone for Loui, there isn't any need to camp.

Which is great if you're on Louisoix, but my FC and I just moved to Exodus and we're just trying to get anything we can.
This nonsense of having to sit and camp a placard with no clear end in sight is silly.

It will probably be a little easier to find housing after the transfer period is up. The 3m incentive to just purchase a plot and transfer has people trying for plots that otherwise would not be spending the time (or setting up something else to spend the time for them).

just scrap this fail timer system and replace it with something like jumbo cactpot
same RNG, but without the waiting and clicking like a bot
