SE needs help for testing their servers before 5.0

Quite honestly, they probably should've considered ARR/HW FATEs instead/additionally. If they really want to stress, better to not have it limited to an area that they'll only access near the end of the 4.0 MSQ, eh?

Good point - I wonder what sort of crowd the horrendously elusive FATEs like the Behemoth, Proto Ultima and part 3 of Coeurlregina would bring in? And more people would be able to participate even if they're not up to the end of Stormblood yet.

so they will launch a FATE in 1 world then announce it on all other world for ppl to come to this world and trying to bring it down, doesn't they?

That's the idea, yes. Testing to see what happens when everyone rushes to a specific world for some reason, and how the servers handle it - or at what point they can't.
