I still see this disconnected mount shoe-in as a wrong move for the soul of FFXIV. Stating there’s already other mounts which walk all over any immersion isn’t really a good thing, in fact it just serves to show the Devs aren’t bothered about keeping any immersion in this area.
But I’ll leave it, as people have different tastes. I just hope they introduce another 4 seat mount more aligned with the core game - something like the Chocobo carriage would be brilliant.
That proposal of seeing other people’s mounts differently probably cannot be done, but it would be a really good feature.

Cid and the empire build technology so if anything all the mounts are immersive lol literally they just build mecha as its needed seriously cant believe you follow the game story if you believe its not "imnersive".

you got robot tanks, robot monkeys ff is mostly airships for travel.

All mounts in game can be fitted in lore lol you cant name five that doesn't make sense

land of magic, land were gods can summon to do battle,world were Garlens have unlimited money to build giant gundum bosses . Yet a mount or mounts effects your immersion when they make more sense than so many other things like infinity breath under water lol

I honestly dont even think the car is going to be popular for more than a month generally when I'm on a mount and I see the ground cropping up through my mount I choose something else.
