Wheels - ah that makes it a car. You know those things you see on the roads here, not magitek airships or Moogle mounts. If the definition of this Fantasy game now is just to throw in everything no matter how disconnected or inappropriate, then where is the core identity of the game?

So... Fantasy vehicles can not have Wheels? You know, those things that cavemen invented as a more efficient means of movement?

No, everything has to be inefficient walkers or things that fly for inexplicable reasons?

Would the car then be lore accurate if instead of having wheels, it just floated a couple of inches off the ground (Meaning, it wouldn't look even the slightest bit different given how it has a low-rider type aesthetic)? Or it it randomly had giant robot legs jutting out of where wheels would normally go?

Many fantasy designs and concepts are based on reality.

For example, how Chocobos are literally just replacements for Horses. But then they added horses into the game! Oh noes!? Should I get mad because I can just look out of my window and see horses? (I live in the countryside) Muh immersion!?

Never mind that the car transforms into an airship, has a ceruleum engine (So we don't have to stop for gas every few malms) and has a unique fantasy design to it.

No, the simple fact that it shares a noun with the Ford Fiesta that my neighbour owns makes it completely incapable of being included into a fantasy game.

If that's the logic, better delete bows from the game, because I own one in real life.

Better delete swords too, I own one of those in real life too.

Better delete armour, I again, own some of that.

Delete staves, I own a staff. I also own plenty of sticks used for hiking around the countryside which could resemble staves.

Delete daggers too, I own fixed blade knives which could be considered in the category of many fantasy "Daggers" (Since "Dagger" is a specific type of knife)

Delete Monks, I know and practice martial arts and own fists.

Delete MCH, because if I lived in America I could look out the window and see guns (Haha #shotsfired #ohcrapanotherschoolshooting)

Delete Dragoon, because I know someone who owns spears, lances, halberds...

I could go on and on.

Instead of focusing on the similarities between the things in a "Fantasy" setting and things that exist in "Real Life" and using that as an excuse to call something inappropriate, instead look at the differences that make it a "Fantasy" reimagining of an otherwise mundane object. Such as the unique designs of the SDS Fenrir and Regalia.
