A Requiem for Heroes needs 380 gear requirement or a longer timer

Just gear up LOL. Ghimlyt Dark alone gives i375 minus weapon, then you have i380 omicron and crafted rakshasa gear, i390 genesis, yama and orbonne gear, all of which are fairly easy to obtain as long as you bash your head in it a few times. For casuals as well. If you need a weapon but feel afraid of ex fights, get a genesis weapon i390 for 1000 stones + 4x alpha 4.0 crystalloids. Or get a HQ rakshasa weapon and upgrade it to HQ Yama. There are so many ways to get gear.

Outgear it or get better, at some point you should expect that the game stops holding your hand for once so you decide how to deal with a problem on your own.

They aren't complaining about having to get better gear, they are complaining about the game even letting them try with gear that isn't good enough.

OP's issue of not clearing the fight on i371 PLD is his own problem, not a design problem - what I said were simply solutions, respectively to brute force it with better gear or to learn how to play PLD better, if only for this fight.

The suggested iLv requirement is, as others already explained, unnecessary since others have won with way less iLv.
