You never see class gear in CC. Also, this is still in the middle of CC you don't even pick your class till CC is *finished.*

I wonder if this picture is a sign of us getting the benchmark soon so we can play with the Character creation on Vieras (and Hrothgars) and see sneak peaks of content that's not going to be in the game.

I think they've said we'll get it in May. The question is when. I suspect it'll be around the middle of the month.

And their run animation is what many on here have expressed they cannot stand! But I'm over here all 'doot-dee-doo'. I'm not exactly trying to run 100m hurdles in track. Just making my way over to the MB from the aetheryte, lol.

I was torn between Midlander and a Xaela. I am totally jealous of the female Au Ra normal dance emote and their tap foot idle stance, but ultimately went Midlander because I'm not a big fan of tails. I really wish I could have those emotes for her though.

This community never ceases to amaze me sometimes. Wait till the benchmark for Christ's sake, talk about overreaction.

Oh look, five presets for CC as usual. Enjoy no updates to CC for the next five years again.

I didn't expect anything different. Every race gets five options. If they figure out a way to give Viera six, everyone should be able to have six. But I don't think they'll be tinkering with those underlying settings unless they do a large-scale overhaul of character creation - and I'm certainly not holding my breath for that.

They'll need to provide a quote proving that they promised more customisation in the first place before they can fairly complain about the lack of it.

Until then, I remain convinced that it's a misinterpretation of what the devs actually said, and they never promised a larger number of character options.

I mean, just watch the concept art panel with Ayumi Namae, they talk about Viera a fair bit as well as the extra customisation. But by all means, continue to assume the worst.

I watched it. I remember them showing off the designs they made, but never got the impression there would be any more actual options than other races.

The closest I remember was showing the same hairstyle with or without bangs, but that could just be taking up two hairstyle slots, like some others already do.

The opposite of "assuming the worst" is to be certain we're getting things they did not actually promise us.
