oh boy.. I've had a long day. no I did not. I'm a wow refugee, and I'm use to click to release. you are right, my mistake.

I will say though the floor tiles lighting up on doom seemed out of wack. I'm going to chalk this all up to 4 hours sleep and a long week.

That's okay. It used to be one click release, but they changed that a while ago (maybe around the start of Stormblood - can't remember). Too many people clicking too fast and releasing instead of accepting a fast Raise.

As for the floors, they change after a few seconds. It could be that you got a bad server tick (server tick is 3 seconds in this game), and your Doom wasn't cleansed. One of the downsides of having mechanics server-side.
