My opinion of blue mage can be summed up by a very commonly used word: Why?

Whats the point in the end? Why would I want to grind all of this stuff? What do I get after all that work? Besides a shiny 50 next to BLU on my search info that tells everyone that I'm perfectly efficient at spamming one skill over and over for hours.

My wife and I quickly found out its most definately not a solo class. The best way we found to get the spells was to have one of us use a level 70 and poke the mob untill it used the skill we needed, then kill it. Thats not even mentioning dungeons and trials.


I guess at the end of the day its fun to use bad breath or spit fish at people, but why?
