Only options are to either teach these players how to behave in our community or report/remove them from our community.

I would opt to teach but some people are unteachable. Lately just choose to not deal with them, so I just leave the party when they start ranting. I'd rather wait 30 minutes and then maybe get a good run than stay and help them out in any way. I used to play WoW myself back in the day and I remember alot of people where just stuck being entitled, self important little stains. Groups tend to form and end pretty quickly over there. Guild drama and such.

In response to the OP, report them. Getting kicked for a sound(s) is not a valid reason to kick someone, also shame on the other party members for voting to kick you.
To those claiming this is racist .... how? You can make any character sound annoying, especially the female ones. Unless there is more context that the person that started the kick, specifically stated it was because they were a Potato, it isn't racist.

Should have thought twice before picking a lalafel, lol.
All's well.

I hope that the perpetrators in question were punished or atleast warned. That's a pathetically stupid reason used to kick another player.

Is it the school holidays? it is half term here in the UK maybe a lot are children.
On another note I got slapped once for being a Puppet master in FFXI....thing was it was a low noob in a random subligar that wasn't even that good and I proceeded to watch him get killed by running through from Jeuno to Qufim! I stepped over him lol Just another troll. I also got raged at in copperbell low dungeon once, he shouted "BARD LEAVE THE GAME" it was because the sumoners pet was attacking the slimes or something but he had no idea it was the summoners pet. I kept quiet I have played a long time the poor summoner finally said it was her pet and I said its fine he is just a knob. I felt sorry for them, the community can be horrible at times![]()

I understand your sentiment.
Last week I was waiting for a Palace of the Dead Queue to pop, which took close to 15 minutes (odd hours)
During that time, there were 2 people constantly /slap spamming all lalafell around Quarymill and uttering the words "All lalafells should just die".
Sufficient to say these are not the kind of people we need in our community. I just reported them for harrasement, cause couldn't even read FC chat due their spam.

I was kicked before bc 2 people didnt like my rotation (was still learning Ninja) and I was able to provide MANY exchanges of dialogue of these people directly attacking me, telling me they hated me, that I ruined their day, that I'm stupid for not knowing a class I've spent very little time playing etc, in a report to a GM.The kick feature is good but not without obvious caveats. I've only really used the kick feature for players who just afk/dc in parties. Kicking someone because you don't like the look/name/voice of their character is harassment. If you want to be a bigot in an MMO then form your own party of friends so you can avoid others. A few days ago I got called a" Rping *insert slur word*" because I play a female roegadyn. Me & the party instakicked the player and all reported him for harassment. You can't let players like these run around without receiving punishment. They'll just multiply and start kicking/harassing other players because of their character's voice/appearance/name. SE made changes to their ToS for a reason. Don't let hatred go unpunished in this game.
So I'm saying, I 100% agree if the person is getting directly harassed to report the person. In OP's example (after context was provided), it appears the offender was under the assumption that OP was trolling, so the issue is pretty tricky for me to navigate.
My only issue is what I bolded. What if they said nothing and silently kicked? Doesn't every player have a right to not like everything SE gives us? Disclaimer: I wont never play a Roe because my own preferences, but I wouldnt ever kick them for it. I understand that "harassment is harassment and should be reported", but in OP's case, they both seem to believe they're being harassed.
I understand the skepticism so here is the whole story.
The dungeon starts and the healer is dcing at the start so I /surprise her while she's pokeballed. When she came back I /surprised her again and a dps I won't name told me that was a good way to get blocked. So whatever I start pulling and stuff and then in the middle of the mob fights the same dps tells me to "fucking stop" in which I then realize that he's talking about the squeaking my character does when using heavy swing and I try to explain to him that it can't be helped.
Long story short in the middle of one of the pulls after a period of nobody saying anything I got kicked.
Soon you will be able to play only with characters you can TRUST.
So put it behind you, don't dwell on it.
Yea no, every community has its terrible players and FF14 is no exception. I have played WoW on and off for a long time since vanilla and its player base is no worse or better than many others. There are plenty of exceptionally rude people in this community already.
Also on topic report those lalafell hating players >:O
