I loved being able to do this event as Blu. I'd love to see more solo events like this at 50 for blue mage to be used for.

I enjoyed it.
I really liked being able to warp strike, that was fun.


The full room aoe was a bit tight on the timing.
Took me several tries to get it to register me not in the 'instant death' zone even though I had warped to, and was standing by, the pillars every time it went off.

Not complaining about the price. Agreed MGP is very easy to obtain. What I'm complaining about is that the event mount is locked behind something that has nothing to do with the event. I'll get it either way. I just don't like with SE cops out like this. Couldn't make the quest line that's already extremely short have like one or two more additional quests send you to another zone and maybe do another duty or two. Instead it feels like "Here's the outfit, we ran out of ideas so go farm mgp for the mount".

Well, you didn't specify and even said something about farming for Fenrir, so it hinted us that you were complaining about the MGP costs.

I agree they could have done something else to let us get the mount, though.

Agreed, Cid could have a quest for you after Noct leaves, something about his people trying to duplicate the Regalia. It is mentioned that Noctis modeled some clothes in Gridania, so getting his clothes makes a little sense, at least thematically. I always prefer it when quest rewards are part of the quest, like with Hatching Tide this year you are doing the quest to get the outfit.
