No... this is going overboard. All PC characters are adults.

I can't remember if there are any Au Ra children in the Azim Steppes (I believe there are...) but there are definitely Miqo children in game. You can clearly see the difference between a child Miqo and an adult Miqo.

The way you attempt to infuse real world politics into this fantasy setting is also troublesome. Particularly this sentiment.


Again. You're worried about how video game characters shifting real world perceptions. So on the flip side, you're saying that any adult human under the average height isn't allowed to display their sexuality, because that would be weird... Until they clearly display their age in the lines of their face of course. So somewhere between 30-50 years of age. Before that... nope.

You're also indirectly implying that short ppl and tall ppl can't date each other... and when you start insisting on how ppl should be pairing up based on appearances that is the first step down the path of the eugenics...

There are Au Ra children (or maybe pre-teens?) in Ruby Sea.

Or at the very least, change how the skimpy gear shows on them. Like make more modest variations. They did that with Lin in Xenoblade X.

I play a female Au Ra that is almost minimum height. I'm female myself irl. And I do NOT think my character looks like a child. Maybe you can make a female Au Ra look like about 16-18, but not much younger. If you see them as children, that's a you problem. Most players don't.

I also don't think they look weird next to taller characters because I understand that the race just looks like that.

And what's this derogative "looks at avatar" stuff when you quote someone who plays female Au Ra or Miqo'te? I personally find male Midlanders absolutely boring (and can't stand female Highlanders), but I would never say something like that to anyone.
