That'd be good too, but only if the age slider started at 18. We shouldn't be sexualizing characters that look to be under 18 ingame unless they change the way certain gear looks on them. :v Otherwise you attract certain undesirables to the game.

I think they're way too young looking and might appeal to a certain sort of "demographic", especially when you see so many dudes playing as them. Maybe they could make them all max height by default and age the faces up a little bit?

The fem au ra emotes really need some work too. They act like little girls. When you pair one of them up with other characters that are like twice their height... it just looks wrong. Makes me concerned for the younger people who are playing this game and seeing young girls sexualized like that. That might be normal in Japan, but the rest of the world isn't as cool with it.


Or at the very least, change how the skimpy gear shows on them. Like make more modest variations. They did that with Lin in Xenoblade X.

I'd say if you are looking at them like children, the problem lies with you and not the character model.

There's nothing immoral about wanting to play as something appearing younger than yourself or in some cases, older. It's a game, they are character models that all share the same model. You can make them look older or younger but whatever they look like is all in your head because they are not actually human, you're playing pretend with digital dolls. I pretend my character is about 23 right now and 24 by the time 5.0 comes out.

There will always be a creepy person here and there, and usually it's the person who suggests there's a problem to begin with when they're trying to deal with a guilty conscious.
