You have the problem here, you don't want to play with Japanese players. The Japanese players on your server should not be forced to leave their server because you don't want to play with them. You should leave if that is the case.

I am happy to leave and go to another server as I have already mentioned, You need to reread what Yoshi-p said obviously as he already stated that they will check the servers to see what the largest player base is to determine what the servers would be.

So if Selbina happens to have a slightly larger Japanese population it is a Japanese server?

No, I don't think so. If Japanese players on Selbina don't want to share a server with Americans or Europeans they should be the ones to leave. I shouldn't be forced off of my server because some people want regional servers.

If you want an EU server, let them start one. You can choose to go to it. Your server however should not suddenly become the EU server and all Japanese/American people on your server suddenly become "on the wrong server" and have to move to either their regional servers, or the global ones.

Several people on this thread want that to be the case, and are implying Yoshida (Square Enix) also wants it to be the case.

If you make existing servers Japanese, or American, or European you are forcing people off of those servers.

It's called new servers you big derp. Did you even read the post of mine you bothered quoting and replying to?

If you get forced off of Selbina, it will be because that server is being emptied due to it's low population. No other reason. All current servers are global and there is nothing to suggest that they will be made into regional ones. If we get regional servers, that will be in the future. Should that happen, I'm sure it will come with the option for anyone to migrate.

This isn't about what you want, if Yoshi-p says this is the JP server you have little choice but to accept that, although I'm sure you would whine like a little school girl.

IIRC, the thread on the JP side that asked for language-based segregation was a 50/50 standoff like the thread on our side.

It's not as cut and dry as you think, so don't present it as such.
