I know the Veena and Ravera have existed since XII, but I'm kind of hoping the Veena of XIV have aspects of Feoul Viera integrated into them. This Veena's skin being paler reminds me of the Feoul.

Also, while it was mostly dropped from the English version's dialogue, the GF is formed from Squall's thoughts about what the ultimate GF would be. Considering his surname is Leonhart, he has a winged lion on Revolver, Lion Heart, his ring, his necklace, and his gunblade's case, it's not exactly surprising how Ultimecia pulled what she did from his mind.

Anyway, now that we know more about Eden, I'm wondering if Gaia having Rinoa's face and hair is a coincidence or not.

Ah, I read the whole thing about it being drawn from Squalls thoughts, but was always confused on where that info came from. So it was a 'lost in translation' error.

But the Feoul were exterminated, and we don't have an analog of the Ageyl whom helped create that sub species.

That's why I said aspects of. Obviously they wouldn't be the Feoul 1:1, they're still Veena. But like I said, paler skin is something the Feoul had like that Veena on the page does. XII's Veena and Ravera both had dark skin.

Find it kinda funny how the lore makes it sound as if people interact with the Hrothgar fairly often in their part of the world and the Lost even seek out work that lets them travel ... but no one knows if the females are big or lion looking like them or WHAT simply because most no one's seen them other than Hrothgar, begging the question "ARE they also Lion people or what?".

Like, I keep thinking of a Mean Girls situation for how no one's bothered to ask a Hrothgar they interact with about it ...

The Viera lore doesn't bother making it seem like there's any likely notable difference in the males even though no one's seen them. Kinda wonder if that's hinting that there COULD be a massive appearance difference if we ever get to see a female Hrothgar.
