Is it true the servers are going to stay down till male viera are announced?

someone in my discord said that the DDoS people are making demands and they said that they're going to keep the servers down till male viera are confirmed to be in development. No clue if it is true or not, but I do think that is taking things waaaaay too far.

I hope SE fixes this, I still can't log it. :/ I want male viera but i still wanna play the game.

Servers are so potato people simply trying to log in on a patch day make them crumble.

on a serious note, nope, I do think those Mr. Robot have better thing to do than trying to bring down FFXIV server

even if it is a cyber attack, it would just weaken the hope of getting opposite gender in those race
