B would be spot on perfect for me if he was just a smidge shorter than the female. He looks similar to the female in terms of body and personality aesthetics and doesn't reduce the race down to caricatures of masculinity and femininity, while still being obviously masculine. But in terms of height that would be the depiction of the tallest Male vs the shortest female in my preference. I just hope the males would be on average like a head shorter than the females because it's so much more different than every other race we have at the moment and where better to mix it up than with the matriarchal race of rabbit people, since female rabbits are larger than males?
Reverse gender dimorphism adds nothing for me. It's "different" in a way that adds nothing.

Viera are not rabbits, they are humanoids with rabbit ears. Being matriarchal is irrelevant to size differences. Honestly, they're just non-arguments for it.

I think it's dumb that there's such a vast difference in height between Xaela/Raen men and women though as far as I'm concerned two wrongs don't make a right and I've rather not see Viera subjected to the opposite scenario.
It pretty much ruined female Au Ra for me.

I didnt intend to give the impression that their social order was based on their height difference or vice versa in universe. THEMING wise however I think is what makes it appropriate for the females to have a more demanding presence than their Male counterparts. (Added onto the biological reason being that female rabbits are larger than the males)

Ok so 1 just because you dont care doesn't mean something is invalid. (Talk about a non-argument! Jeezums!)
2 I mean they are though? I'm pretty sure those are rabbit ears on their head so they're at least borrowing SOMETHING from rabbit biology. How much can we divorce them from their rabbitness before they're no longer viera? What is the critical mass of rabbit?
3 I did not mean to imply that their societal structure dictated their height differences or their height differences dictated their societal structure IN UNIVERSE. (Though there are a few matriarchal species that do follow that dimorphism, see: hyenas a species that has an almost identical society to viera) But THEMING wise it would make sense to design a female of a matriarchal race to have a more commanding presence over their known-for-not-being-immediately-seen male counterparts. It's a very common trope with the matriarchal society concept. That paired with them already being biologically rabbit themed just makes a smaller, more acrobatic male make more sense to me. It's a two-fer! (Three if you actually feel up to the arduous task of understanding why someone might be excited by SE not doing yet another tol MAN smol girl race.)
