Has the EU data centre split inadvertently killed Eureka?

So I’ve been working my way through Eureka for the last six or so weeks in earnest, the instances have been pretty full regardless or whether I’ve gone into Anemos, Pagos, Pyros and finally Hydatos.
Since the Eu data centre split however going into Hydatos is proving pointless. Yesterday afternoon there was literally a dozen people in there so I put it down to it being outside prime playtime and post maintenance. I’ve ventured into Hydatos this evening and there’s currently 7 people in the instance. Surely being prime time then instance would be nearly full as it has the last few weeks.
So is there some sort of bug occurring? Has Eureka died a sudden death? Is my quest to finish my relic weapon and armour being brought to a premature end? I’m on the Chaos data centre and the moogle server. Are other people on this data centre or the new Light data centre finding the same?

You can do eureka with 4-8 people. Nms scale to number of people in the instance, as well as number of kills required to spawn them.

Just don't sit around and wait for other people to do the work for you.

I don’t, I actively participate, but it’s good to know about the scaling. I’m presuming though the Baldesion arsenal wouldn’t scale though?

You are right, you can do eureka with a handfull of people but that would mean that they all have to know what they are doing and not beeing afk'ers or dicks that only care for themself which works mostly only as premades. I honestly don't think a random bunch of 4-8 people would be able to kill things like the provenance watcher. That would require teamwork and at least 1 tank and 1 healer. Good luck with that.

Did you try to re-instance more than once? Sometimes you get put into an overflow that has barely any people in it if there is a full map but not enough people for two maps.

Tried Hydatos for an hour and the best was a instance with 30 ppl that failed Ovni ... sure hope thats not the norm.

And even if Eureka scales BA does not ...

I didn't notice any particular problem in Eureka since the split, and I'm on Light. Not a full instance, but still a good one with quite a few people.

Not only that but good luck chaining NMs when you only have one group working on them. It's going to be considerably slower.

Having been in Eureka most of today I can see a point. Anemos had about 40 people, pyros was around the 70mark and hydatos struggled to keep itself around 100 during prime hours. It definitely feels a lot more quiet in there the past 2 days. Slow too. Was looking to cap my genesis and nothing seemed to be popping which was why I was occasionally swapping from anemos to pyros to hydatos etc.

Also I don't think all nms scale. I tried to do Skoll once with about 12 and it was a massacre. We were sticking around to grind bunny fate when he popped.
