We'll probably see the exact same thing happen in a few weeks when it's NA's turn for the split. Though makes you wonder, players take the time to make a thread on the forums but can't use those few moments to check the Lodestone before posting.

It is indeed very weird a player not playing every single day... Logging in, not being able to log in. Checking the messages as logs in through steam and it says maintenance the 2nd being today being the 1st and finding that weird.

It is indeed very weird trying to ask the community, in a friendly matter, what is going on... Very weird indeed.

I think what is normal is to just criticise a player for asking a legitimate question in a forum, trying to get help. That is the norm .. I guess. Apologies for asking the question. ....

There have been a few threads about the planned maintenance which is nothing a check on the Lodestone couldn't answer, but of course it's not exactly clear and a few are little confused about the actual scheduled timing though either way it's fine to query with the community here.

My post wasn't a direct response to yourself or a dig in any way, so apologies if I worded it like that. Let's just say there's have been a lot duplicate threads about many things lately (male viera, no new healer etc) it tends to grate after a while you know.

World Transfer Accommodations
For a period of approximately two weeks following the implementation of each new Data Center, all characters on affected Data Centers will be able to transfer Worlds at no cost.

The following accommodations will also be made for players transferring Worlds:
Players will be able to carry up to 999,999,999 gil to their new World.
Players who own an estate will have the full cost of the land returned to them, and receive an additional 3,000,000 gil to compensate for lost furnishings.
Players who own an apartment will have the full purchase price of 500,000 gil returned to them, and receive an additional 500,000 gil to compensate for lost furnishings.
Additionally, all active accounts (with game time remaining) in regions that experience a maintenance period longer than twenty-four hours will have their remaining game time extended by one day.

Dates: Tuesday, April 2 to Monday, April 15, 2019
Eligible: All characters on EU Data Centers
▼NA Availability
Dates: Tuesday, April 23 to Monday, May 6, 2019
Eligible: All characters on NA Data Centers
* Transfers to Congested Worlds will remain unavailable.
* Transferring to a Preferred World will confer the usual transfer bonuses in addition to those listed above (though in the event that a bonus is the same, you will not receive it twice).
* Players transferring to Standard Worlds will not be able to transfer again until three days have passed. Those transferring to Preferred Worlds will, as always, be unable to transfer again for ninety days.
