The dps check is easier when using mainly Holy (along with Presence of Mind and Cleric Stance), but around the end of second/ beginning of third, it's possible to run out of mana. Assize, Thin Air and Lucid Dreaming should be used while you run. If you think it would be slow with only Holy on that phase, remember you can move before the Holy explodes.

so your one of those people huh. clearly in why in the hell! would even spam holy on single target. sounds to me playing wrong job. first of all stone does more damage then holy on single target has lesser cast time. quicker animation

Well, it worked. I'm also one of those people that use a controller, not keyboard and mouse, but I can still solo heal 8-man content. Only had to use Holy ca. three times per sword (except for the one I used Assize on, which I never needed for healing in that fight anyway), single target (never intended to hit multiple swords with it), and could immediately run while applying Aero I to the next sword before the last Holy animation completed (earlier than with Stone IV). Tried using Stone IV and Aero I+II a few times before, but ran just out of time every time. Yes, I could maybe have targeted from farther away with Stone IV if I had the finger dexterity, but history can't be re-written.

I know how to white mage and have mained it for years now since patch 2.4. It was a last ditch thing I tried, and normally I only use Holy when there are multiple mobs and/or need to stun to create breathing room for healing.

Edit: I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'one of those'...
