Thunderer is epic! The music that tells us "prepare to fight an Ascian!"

I'm absolutely fine with it being used here, though I'm more disappointed that it gets used for non-Ascian things like Ixion. Makes it less special.

Yeah I think that's it: the song has been used so much at this point that all of its impact is gone.
Plus is it really the track that should be playing during the Warrior of Light's triumphant arrival and rescue of their friends? During the final encounter of the entire expansion, one which we've been trying to beat solo since the very start?
IMO if Revolutions should have played anywhere, this fight would have been the perfect place to do it, even if it's just a relatively mindless one-and-done story fight I think it would have greatly elevated it and the rest of the finale.

The ending was... fine? The whole of SB felt like sort of a filler story, so in that sense the ending is appropriate. Doesn't really generate much hype like ARR and HW ending did.

Would've liked if EleZenos was a wee bit harder.

Have to give it to them though. There were some very nice wallpaper worthy shots in the ending.

Sure, it looks like the guy we've been repeatedly fighting throughout Stormblood, but he's not in there any more. We're fighting Elidibus this time.

It would have been good to work Revolutions in there somehow, but I don't think it would quite work for that fight.

Yeah but it's not like every Ascian fight needs Thunderer playing, we even have Ascian Prime already which has Maker's Ruin (which, speaking of, would've been another good fit for the fight since it's essentially the WoL's theme)

Oh, I haven't done much Eureka... but I do remember it being used there now that you mention it.

It was also used for Twintania and, IIRC, early big FATEs like Behemoth.

I had to deliberately lose the fight and adjust my glamour so I could look more heroic just for that moment lol. It was awesome.
