Suggestion: rewards for healers

Good evening Developers/SE and fellow forum readers

I was wondering if the developers would consider some rewards for healers. Perhaps 5,000 commendations as a healer, or running roulettes 1000 times, something along those lines. The rewards could also be different for different healers.

I suggest a huge fairy mount for scholar, a star globe for astrologian and a tree-walking mount (like Ennt from LOTR) for white mage?

While there is a unicorn for conjurer, I feel that is rather dated, and I think it would be nice if all three healers receive some form of recognition.

Seeing as Shb doesn't have a new healer, some kind of commendation reward for healers would be a good thing! I mean they should have gotten something to begin with, but it would nice to add them since they'll be in need a lot.

Roulettes already have bonuses if a role is wanted, so i don't think that needs anything added. Maybe a bit to the less popular roulettes?

Currently Tanks are still the most needed, we'll have to see how the balance changes with ShB. Until then I'd say its fine as is.

I have always thought that there should be healers in duties incentive mounts in the same way we have tank only mounts. [Like what Lersayil above me, is referring to]

Perhaps SE should make all mount versions but for healers in an appropriate/different mount type for healer.

As for commendations, I think those categories are likely going to heals and tanks already, most of the time, so not needed.

I rarely ever comm anyone, to be honest, but when I do, it's the player that downright deserves it. And honestly that's usually a DPS

Personally I wouln't even put in the healer mount achievements currently. At least not for balancing reasons.

Currently healers are still a LOT more popular than tanks. I guess it has to do with responsibility? Less room for mistakes?

Anyways, ShB might upset the balance as things stand. If it comes to pass I wouldn't mind adding incentives like the mounts, but for the moment its fine.

Commendations are optional and everyone in the run deserves to have an equal chance at obtaining one. You get to decide who, if anyone, deserves yours and you shouldn't feel obligated to give one to a specific role/job because they have rewards tied to it. Yes, there are rewards tied to commendation totals, but none of them are restricted by which job you play. It's up to you to earn them yourself by performing and acting your best.

Like stated above, a healer specific reward, if added, should follow the same pattern as the tank mounts and be earned by playing that role in content. Also the tank mounts are only 200 or 300 runs. 1000 is really high.

Healer achievment mounts like the tank ones would be a nice heads up and a new incentive to play the healers instead of just switching to comfy, new and shiny DPS classes.

This. I'd rather see healer mounts instead. As it stands, I can walk away with multiple commendations from content for barely doing any healing outside of oGCDs... meanwhile, on a DPS I'm AOEing my little heart out, Refreshing/Tacticianing, Palisading, Nature's Minne-ing, singing that Foe's, and generally doing for more work and walk away with none lol.
