I’m a little concerned about how they worded that they’re still gathering and analyzing feedback? Like they’re wondering if it’s the lack of male Viera or the lack of female Hrothgar that seems to be the problem while I think the reaction from the playerbase is clear it’s the whole genderlock. I hope they can understand that and do the right thing. Let’s just hope for the best!

Well I wouldn't blame them for wanting to get their response just right, and really try to make sure they can read the room correctly, considering the reaction they just earned.
Don't want to burn and get burned a second time in quick succession.

I wouldn't expect them to give us a satisfying answer in less than a week because it's not just a few people internally that need to have the discussion.

Yeah you’re actually right, and I appreciate how they are going to take their time to review this mess and figure out how to answe that. It's important to consider the possibility that the developers are playing a waiting game and hoping that "the temperature" as Yoship put it, goes down. That way, they can ignore the issue and never bother developing the other genders.

That's why everyone needs to keep the drumbeat going strong until they positively confirm that they are working on it. Customers have a lot more power in the gaming world than most of them probably realize, especially if news reaches outside investors.

To be fair, even when we do get a communication its very unlikely we will get a definitive answer as to the addition of the gender-locked races for sure. More likely they will say they heard our feedback and will review what they can do.... and then never hear about it again, like egi-glamours.

Patience, young grasshoppers, is the name of the game. I'd support any design for male Viera that isn't of a Hulk body-type...lol I'd prefer a swimmers build.

Yeah, SE's communication pattern really makes it hard to gauge their intentions which is really bad for the ol' anxiety >.o
