I have had this problem more than a few times.

The one situation that always comes to mind, was a healer i had during a lvl 50 dgn. I can't remember which one, but i know it was a level 50 dgn.

Anyway, had this healer who wouldn't dps at all. So i said to them that they should dps whenever there was downtime and no healing was needed. This person flipped out on me, started calling me an idiot and all this nonsense. The person was obviously new, but still that's no excuse to act like that. So long story short, the healer never helped dps and sat at full MP the entire time. Before i left i told that person, you better start dpsing because you will be expected to dps especially at max level. And people may not be as tolerable as i. The person said "I am max level" and i checked and was only a lvl 50 WHM.

Ugh, people can be so stubborn.

He was just a beginner in tanking.... You should have kicked him first, by telling him " u am sry but I have to kick you. We don't have time to teach you how to tank now but I will add you as my friends list and show you how to tank and provide you a guide etc".

    That's how you do it...

If my assumption about the tank wanting to go for a second tank swap there is right, they knew better how to tank than the OP (and just messed up the timing)...

But I agree with your general idea: If you truly have someone in your party who doesnt meet the requirements set by (for example: parctise a certain phase, clear, farm etc.) you should politely inform them that they might need more practise on a certain part of the fight (or maybe even their job - I've seen bards not using dots and songs in Tsukuyomi EX parties... FUN) and then dismiss them (maybe after suggesting guides or an invitations to join your parties again in the future if they're better prepared).

If they start insulting you, blacklist, maybe report depending on how bad it is - but I'd focus on preventing that in the first place, following some of the points I mentioned earlier, mainly by staying polite and respectful and refraining from throwing blame around or even starting to call people names yourself.

You could have just kicked and found a new tank. Or you could have made him MT which possibly could solve the issue

Tbh I run into these types of tanks in “clear” parties, who don’t know what their doing and fly off the handle. I’m always under the impression that when you joined a clear party you know mechanics. When I see a pf saying “learning/clear” I know then not everyone is experienced but at least have some knowledge.

I generally jump into duties as a tank the first time without researching beforehand. Though to be fair normally there isn't anything to research beforehand because its on patch day and no one knows what is going on. However I do often forget about new EX trials or current cycle savage raids because I forget about the existence of that other tab in DF and rarely look at PF unless I'm trying to finish my WT for the week. In these cases if someone explains a few things at the start good. Otherwise I generally get mechanics figured out after clearly seeing them the first time in the duty.

Thankfully the "No, we're wiping because YOU'RE an idiot, stop trying to tell me what to do!" crowd is less than 0.1% of the actual population. Some blockheads that don't care and are willing to let other people pick up the slack, sure, but the line between them isn't exactly slim.
The few times they're caught out, one good attempt at explaining any bit thoroughly is all that's deserved. Any further patience is a gift. Some of this <0.1% do seem to take the advice, even after some grumbling, and show signs of at least trying it out once or twice in the content. Those, I find, are usually in the sub-level 50 stages and still learning their jobs anyway. When you hit Hard/Ex primals, post-story dungeons and so on, their behavior's pretty much set in stone.

Once we got our new OT slot filled I started off as main tank, we got to the first cursekeeper he provoked like he was supposed to and i shirked him (tank swap mechanic), and then for some reason the tank swapped aggro right back to me and we all wiped. I tried to be patient with him and explain that common practice is to wait until the next swap mechanic to swap back, and by doing what he did he ended up wiping us (regardless of us all being a bit upset about this we tried to be polite about it). Instead of just taking our advice and doing things the way we normally do/did when we had the other OT he proceeded to insult me and try to blame the situation on me saying i didn't know how to tank. The tank we had before this new one was perfectly in tune with me and the party in when he was supposed to provoke, shirk, shake it off etc, but this new one just seemed like someone who didn't care about inconveniencing others and wanted to jump into something he wasn't ready for.

As a veteran player i would like to think i have a good grasp on most classes, especially tank since i have main'd it for so long now I don't feel the need to defend myself as a veteran so once half the party broke up and he left i simply blacklisted him, i don't really want people who make drama like that in future pf's of mine. Anyway not to get too focused on the drama of it, my question remains. How do i deal with these types of people. This has happened a few times in the past over the 5+ years i have been playing now and even though it is rare it is still a somewhat irritating situation to come across and i am trying to find any ways to maybe word my advice so it maybe sounds more sincere or perhaps this is just a type of encounter that is inevitable? (please keep in mind any replies would preferably be about my main question as the context is just an example of why i have resorted to asking this question in the first place) I am sort of an introvert myself so social interaction isn't exactly my strong suit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
I woulda told him to go play Maple Story 2 or Hello Kitty Island adventure. But I guess that would be too toxic. /think
