Dont worry, I will keep playing this game even as a male Miqote, and many others as well. But it still doesnt change the fact that consumers, the community can ask for more variety or additions to the current system. And people been giving feedback the whole time already about many things. Eureka wouldnt be in its current state (even if they just reused features over and over again).

So lets not act like asking for cosmetics is a crime. Beside there were worse questions during q&a (kriles and tsuyu's outfit for example) than asking the devs to unlock genders. And maybe instead of creating more cash shop items they can use the money to create the opposite genders. Which should boost fantasia sales anyway.

I do care that ppl are crying their way to getting male vieras/female hroths when that time, money and dev. time can rather go into a)fixing other issues in the game, or b) creating more content in other areas of the game.
To me, all the fuss over not getting getting male vieras/female hroths is silly and a waste of time and resources.
I fear that SE might actually buckle, and give in to the noise, giving us all less good gamecontent down the line.

Se wanted to give the com what they asked for, and that was a beast like race and the viera. When they don't have enough resources for both genders, then the com has to take it and ask in a normal way for the other genders.
ppl should not forget that they also have to prepare everything for important content, or do you guys want shitty jobs, dungeons & raids? that would make the game unplayable, not a missing gender from a new race.

I'm not sure about other medias, but here it's quite opposite tbh. There are some people who argues in wrong way, but they are not the majority. Also, people calmed a little bit and start to be more polite.

So what are we allowed to ask for then? Can we say, "hey, SE, it would be cool if you eventually added the other genders?" then? I feel like most people would be fine with waiting, but to say they should never be added to the game is absurd and nothing short of vindictive. Adding them in the near future would of course be a huge challenge and is probably not worth it, but to say they should never be added even far down the line just doesn't make any sense. You're literally playing a race that was added to the game during an expansion and whose resources theoretically could've gone to more/better content during HW. If we're gonna go down this road, then they should never have added any additional races to begin with.

I just don't see the problem with adding the remaining genders eventually. Like I said in another thread, they add content almost every patch that is aimed at a specific and usually small demographic whether it be additional housing items, more camera options, things like Ultimate content, and so on. What's wrong with them adding guy bunnies and big girl cats if they get the chance?

I agree, some people can go overboard with how they voice their displeasure, but to outright ignore everyone else and put them all under one label isn't conducive to anything.

I play it cause I like it thats all, that the Devs had the time and plans to offer us it is great, would I die if i never had seen it? No. Id have merrily fucked off as the original Elezen I was.
I dont give a flying bat about either of the new races. SE felt they wanted to give us players more options, to then have the gall to take that and whine that its not what those players want, is to me, rude AF.
Especially seeing what some of the players are actually saying, its appalling and it makes me thin kthey are all entitled ungrateful babies that should never have gotten those 2 races to start with, cause even if they did get all genders for them, it *still* wouldn't be enough!

It's silly according to you maybe.
Players want different things in this game, players ask SE for a variety of things to be added in the game, and SE tries to add different things that appeal to different groups of players.
They might add the male/female counterparts of the gender-locked races for the players who'd like them to be added, they might add a new eureka-type of content for players who like that kind of content, they might add more ultimate raid for those hardcore raiders. We can't know which one wastes more time and resources than others because we are not the devs or SE business people. All we know that SE will carefully plan the distribution of resources for each of these new contents that they might add, and that each one will make different group of players happy, and each will contribute to the revenue in some ways.
Whether the revenue contribution from each of those contents worth the resources spent on them or not is up to SE to decide not us.

Same here. The devs should be spending resources to improve the game instead of wasting resources on making new models that people would never use.

Worst part is that even if they release a male Viera, a bunch of people will still be mad since they will get something they didn't want. Seems like there's a few people who want an athletic build and there's a few perverted ones out there that want a small feminine boy.
